Elevators for domestic use are built in the USA, and are available in electric or Hydraulic. The standard voltage is 200 to 240 volts, with a capacity of 2 to 6 persons maximum. These units are supplied as skeleton units to be paneled by your interior designer. However, they can also be supplied in stainless steel or decorative finishes.

Elevator speed is 0.4 M/S to 0.6 M/S.

This type of elevator can be supplied with a hall way door to look like a bedroom door, in keeping with the interior design of your home.

The machine room is usually located in the basement or cellar of the house.

All elevators can be configured for disabled persons or for wheelchair access.

We supply and install Stair / Chair lifts and Wheel Chair Elevators.

Stair / Chair Lifts fit onto a existing stair well with a platform consisting of either a seat for a person who can still walk, or a rail system for locking a wheelchair into place. The units’ drive system is concealed in the handrail and the platform can fold up when not in use.

There are two type of stair lifts – one type for multi-turn stair ways, the other for straight stair wells.

Call stations and controls are located at both the top and bottom of the stairs or at each stop on the platform.

Wheelchair Elevators operate similarly to a standard elevator, however they are smaller, in order to accomdate 1 person on a wheel chair. The person on the wheel chair is safely locked into place and elevated up / down to the next floor.
